After the fifties, britain became much more socially liberal and sichanged aloft. But obviously still continue to have quite a lot of economic turbulence. And that sort of came to the head really in the 19 seventies. The first moment we marked the queen's first jubilee, her silver juvibilee. She said: 'When i was 21, i pledged my life to the service of our people' I do not regret nor attract one word of it.'
