On Script - Is There Anything Still to Say About Christology?

Mike Downey is the author of Jesus Among the Gods, Early Christology in the Grogchoroman world. In his new book he tries to make "ontology" great again and relevant for early Christianity. He says there's different ways we can talk about Christology: functional or divine. But what I want to say is that Paul himself has a lot of parody with the philosophical language used to describe deities in the ancient world.
