The Bumblebee's Nectar Reward

Two plants, acan item Lycoptonum and acan item napellis, are growing next to each other. The purple one appears to be robbed of its nectar more often than the yellow one. This is because insects come along to take the nectar that are not bona fide pollinators. And what are the bona fide pollinator of these two plants? Well they're bombous species. These are bumblebees. But they're a particular group of bumblebees which have got the longest tongues.
