What Happens When Two Black Hole Collide?
Daniel: What happens when two black holes collide? Horhay: They sort of smush together. And for a few moments there you have a black hole that doesn't have a spherical event horizon, which has cotf an incredibly revealing moment for the black hole. All right, well, i think this really kind of points to some of the amazing things that can happen out there in the universe. The thing that amazes me is that we can do these calculations, people perform these simulations using numerical relativity tools and they describe incredible, bonkers things as happening. But then we can actually see them, it rea happens.
