The Role of Chemotherapy in Rectal Cancer
The historical approach for rectal cancer has been neoadjuvant, chemo, and radiation. This study is looking at maybe we should change how we treat rectal cancer. They are looking at a non-inferiority margin of 1.29, which I had never seen before. And those disease free survival, they do a nice job explaining in the methods where they got this 1.29 from it correlates to a disease free survival.
