The Growth of Knowledge Behaves Like Infinity Hotel
There's no such thing as the typical room at a at infinity hotel. Every room number is untypically close to the beginning. The intuitive idea that there must be an average is also false for infinite sets. We cannot predict the content of ideas yet to be created or their effects. This limitation is not only consistent with the unlimited growth of knowledge, it is entailed by it in the next chapter.
