Kia Starma said Labour would be 'closed for on steroids' in his speech. This was a reference to the abolition of Clause 4 by Tony Blair as part of the new Labour project, and Clause 4 being part of the Labour Party's constitution about bringing industries back into public ownership. One of the proposals that he's considering is this right to disconnect - so bosses can't bother their staff at weekends. But it ignores one of the shifts that we've seen generationally in working patterns and workplace expectations over the past few years.
