Is There a Scientific Parallel to the Practical Experience?
There's some good levels of it, what i call experiential knowledge. What you've been talking about there is in the literature that's called implicit learning. Implicit learning is where it's very kind of intuitive. The ecological approach rejects the computer analogy. You're a biological organism living in the environment. Context is everything. And not only that, environments are quite fic an is a football environment. Some one might be confident in emotional control on the football field, but put them 200 meters up a mountain side and they go to pieces. There's a lot of good experience you can gain from that.
