The Cross Entwined With Roses
The human being must increasingly approach the state in which they will inwardly arise anew from the part that is dying off. That is why in earlier times the initiates were compared to the oak tree and called druids. Gerta places the cross entwined with roses at the entrance gate of the temple, who added the roses to the cross, quote, asks the poem. Only someone says this who knows that it expresses a development toward a higher state of humanity.
