The Treasure From the Trolls

Bilbo and Gandalf are on their last road back to the Shire. As they go backwards, Bilbo remembers as they pass different places. He says it was one year ago, but it seems more like 10 years, right? And this is something I've noticed in my life, when I've gone on new journeys, new trips, that the time seems so full because every day is new, every day is different.
