When you over promise, they're not disappointed that you guys couldn't start dinner until six thirty. They're disappointed that you said six for the fifth time in a row. You don't have to over promise to make a sale. All you have to do is promise accurately deliver and then that customer will make the sale to the next one for you through referral. Momentum is the most valuable thing you can have but it's really the toughest thing to get.
