The Ghost Army had turned deception into an art form and laid the way for the Allies to go on to victory. It's believed that this deception all by itself probably saved thousands of lives. After the war, many Ghost Army veterans returned to civilian artistic careers. Nusson Baum and Blue Stein became designers.
