Is There an Environmental Impact Bond for Wetlands?
There have been proposals to measure the benefits of wetlands and to assign mitigation credits. But are they already well to do people who have alternatives, or a more disadvantaged communities? So i don't know if there is any of any examples yet that do that explicitly. A new environmental impact bond allows d c to raise money to fund a pilot for for a green infra structure m. If it doesn't perform as well as expected, the city isn't on the hook for those extra costs. And on the other hand, if the green intra structurem exceeds its expected performance, then the investors will make some extra money,. The city will actually save money because it needs to build less of that green
