The Eucharist Is a Stable Presence
The eucharist gives us spiritual nourishment by union with jesus and the members of his body, the church. These graces are for the building up of our lives as christians. For instance, yesterday we had ash wednesday. Catholics are not supposed to eat meat on ash wed Wednesday. But because he ad received holy communion that morning, he was given the strength to avoid a chicfilet. So alberta is tempted to waste time looking at the means instead of doing our home work.
