Is the Metaphysics of Causation a Good Thing?
In the first book, there was a complaint that i hadn't provided an underlying metaphysics of causation. People have said to me, ok, but what are the truth makers for thosea claims about what would happen if you were to intervene? You know, what's going on at a metaphysical level? Are you committed to powers or dispositions as your account of causation? Or maybe relations of necessitation between universals, or maybe something else? And i'm, i just don't find the focus on those kinds of issues worthwhile.
