Kanji: Biodiversity is actually local you know there are specific ecosystems in specific locations which need protection and their action has to happen at the local level. He says that for national governments to take forward those principles the national priorities become a very crucial aspect. Big business and large infrastructure projects without adequate environment impact assessment remain challenges, he adds.
