How to Pray Confidently and Specifically

I ask God for things on the basis of my limited wisdom and his good heart. This is how I can pray confidently and specifically. If you are praying vague prayers like, dear God, please bless my husband today, what do you mean by that? You can't hide what you really desire from him. He already knows. So you might as well tell him and interact with him and go on the journey with him.
