NAC Dosing in Massive Overdose
The pitfall might be to just run a standard NAC infusion. With charcoal, we might give it up to four hours. And with NAC in your massive overdose, it'll be a higher dose. The last thing you want is a patient to aspirate on charcoal. Secure the airway before giving charcoal and an altered patient.
