The Importance of Having a Satellite Phone on the SSB
I took a wilderness first responder course and that's an injury that you're trained to treat in the field. Neither of the guys on the boat had had that training so when they talked to the doctor on the phone he advised them not to because you can do more harm than good if you don't do it right. And I think when we do have access to medical care I mean that would certainly be our first choice. But for us there will be several periods of time where we're two and a half plus days three weeks even at sea. You know you have to be prepared to be pretty self-sufficient.
