The Prohibited Motorcycle Battery
The prohibited motorcycle battery went undetected by the aviation police instruments and the bottled gasoline passed by the inspector. The athlete, Kuchinshoi, was accused of giving bottles of gasoline in bleach to be carried on to the plane along with this other stuff. He was actually convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Upon appeal, the sentence was shortened to seven and a half years. And after a fifth retrial, he was actually declared not guilty.
