Climate Change Is Really Important, but Don't Do Anything About It
Strikes are essential because they force society to confront the idea that we'are more powerful as a collective, she says. And this is why i think governments hate giving in to striking workers or protesters - it completely undermines near liberalism and shows people can't work together. That's why we have to keep being out there together, standing solidarity with people, working together as collective movements and organizations. Because that is how we effect change, at the end of the day, and that is how you get outcomes.
