Is Interactivity a Part of the Game Design Process?

In sushi bell, we started out thinking of the game as an anthology of stories. And that really informed a lot of how we thought about the construction of the game. The reason hat the game got made is that you could feel like you're asamurai in feudal japan. Everything that gets made is justa serve that one singular objective. We certainly create the story of jin's transformation into the ghost, and then all those other things are satellites around that central theme.
