Is America a Post Christian Nation?
In the nineteenth century, europe went from christian to non-christian. What america has that europe doesn't have is deep, historic christian roots. The united states was really the first to experiment with the idea of secular governments. And i anticipate that what is very apparent in western Europe for the most part will be only increasingly more so in the united states. I think the current culture wars confuses us because we don't know how present actual christian faith is in America. Or as bain says: "The church as great as a ban on religion"
