The Core Fear of Loss of Attachment in OCD

In the background of every case of OCD is on some level, a fear of losing attachment to other people. It doesn't have to be shame would be an example of loss of attachment being shamed and like a social pariah excluded from society or from your family. Or it could be being sent to a hospital being excluded from your family, not being taken care of, not being loved. But all of these are variations on the theme of loss of attachments.
