What Am I Hearing From Wise Counsellors?

The last thing in the world i wanted to ever be was a celebrity. And so listening to consolations and dessolations was really a big piece for me to reconize. In terms of travelling and speaking, it didn't matter. I'd read something from eugene peterson about how he stopped speaking,. because of the danger it was to his spiritual life that it would actually wreck him spiritually. Soi whether it's from spiritual directors or authority figures, or mentors, atherapists, wise friends, whatever, mothers and follows of the faith are key.
