The Rise of Spindictators in Democracies
Many of the techniques you describe Spindictators using were first sort of conceived by these Americans who studied public opinion in what was starting about a hundred years ago. Most of which went into consumerism right and encouraging people to buy stuff. But are being used elsewhere to support particular political regimes. In many countries, democratic institutions actually, we stood this pressure. Maybe Trump will come back. Who knows? They are not young people, but who knows? And then we will lament this in the years to come.
