The struggle between Pelagius and Augustine is one of the most titanic in the history of theology, says Bishop Barron. "If I could save myself, I don't need a Savior," Jesus devolves into being a moral archetype: Oprah? Why not anybody else?" If he's divine, he comes from outside the broken system in some very fundamental way, but enters into the broken system itself; that was key to Christianity.
