The Story of a Child With Multiple Seizures

Phoebe, who's now two years of age, has continued to experience some generalized, toniclonic and focal seizures that have been refractory to multiplemedication trials. After one year of age, she also developed these new seizure types, including drop seizures and miaclonit seizures. Around the same time, she began to display some developmental concerns. She's got poor balance, some low muscle tone and speech delays.
