The Evolution of Mission Impossible
The original series was kind of a heist thing. That's what the Impossible Mission Force does. They're supposed to be invisible, right? You're supposed to never know they were there. The idea was like, how do we create a compelling thing? Like meeting the team or like getting attached to the team if the team's already here. And then it was De Palma that was like, well, kill everybody. But yeah, really strongly recommend you can kind of David Kep talks very frankly on that podcast about the evolution of how all of it came together.
