We need to understand capitalism holistically not just as an abstract system and a set of economic exchanges but as a social system which really deeply impacts our own consciousness and subjectivities. A lot of organizer burnout that people experience isn't just from frustration with activism but it's part of a larger problem capitalist burn out. Radical psychologists would be much more effective in helping people understand the way that capitalism is related to these forms of suffering that really all workers are beginning to share in our de-regularized and post-industrial society.
