The Benefits of Extended Release Injectable Buprenorphine
Most of your patients on buprenorphine maintenance are on 24 to 32 milligrams a day. If they're predominantly using fentanyl, I will say my patients who are maybe just transitioning from oxycodone, you know, those patients tend to not need 32milligrams per day. But in some cases, if patients don't feel like they're getting adequate symptom control, meaning their cravings or withdrawal symptoms aren't adequately controlled on the 100s, so we could just keep them on 300.
