Mary webster was beaten and hanged from a tree before being buried in the snow and left overnight. She went on to live 11 more years before passing away in her seventies. In 19 95, well known novelist margaret atwood published a poem entitled half hanged mary. This episode is made possible by scream. It's been too long.
