Do the Numbers Differ on a Variety of Financial Web Sites?
Some numbers will be calculated differently then others. Errors in the soft waythet they're using to to scrape data is probably most common. The biggest safeguard is to run the numbers in something like quick f es and do it, because that allows you to do it quite quickly. But then check all the numbers, check them all in the annual reports that actually come from the company. Ah, and if those numbers are rong, well, the company's comitting fraud, and that's just unlucky.
