The World Cup Finale
Argentina won the World Cup. The team's players, who mostly live abroad and dream of going back home one day, played beautifully. They are heading home as I speak, to parade through the streets of Argentina. After the game, a bunch of us headed over to Times Square,. which had been engulfed by a sea of ecstatic Argentina fans. An Argentine immigrant sobbed on my shoulder. It took me no one believed in Messi, but he did.
