The Chinese Affair in Southeast Asia
There's a vast vast diaspora of Chinese overseas, mostly from Fujian and Guangdong in Southeast Asia at various proportions. The migrants who left China during the decaying decades of the Ming dynasty were basically carrying the seeds of success to these new national homes. And so I think if they're allowed to move to other places in the world they're very likely to plant the roots of institutional success that can help them make more prosperous countries.
