International sovereign bonds have played a big role in the current Sri Lanka debt crisis. Tylina you show that a lot of this needs to be seen in the context of the dominance of international sovereign bonds in the current financial crisis. So I wonder if you could talk a little bit about what they are and then also like why did they have such a kind of such a bigrole in the current debt crisis? Thanks Robert, yes that's important. We were having maturities of sovereign bonds in 2020 2021 and 2022 continuously right at least a billion a year which meant we were going to be repaying this from our foreign reserves because we can't refinance them now.
