The History of Pirates

Chiangi Zhao was the wife of a pirate who infested the China Sea from 1807 to 1810. Nothing could be done without her written permission and she would have your ears cut if you violated it. She also had an unusual policy toward captive women: To use violence against any woman should be punished with death, considering their rape among pirates was rather common. At least part of her prestige was tied to her reputed shamanic abilities. It is said that she never made important decisions without first consulting a guardian spirit. And advisor on the proper course of action. So our lady is getting more and more interesting by the minute. She is a former sex worker.
