When my x and i broke up, his friends were happy. They were like, she's free. And it probably freed them a little bit. I would hope they would cut him unlines at some point. In a way, friends vouch for their friends through their relationships and their presence. Those friends who are still in his life contribute to those romantic partners entering into those relationships with him in the first wow.
