The Slow Response to Nicotine in the United States

We seem to be very slow off the mark on this though because I was having a look at what other countries are doing. We thought that other countries were panicking about the youth and imposed two stringent measures but now the chickens have come home to roost. So I think the policy approach that we took, which was to prioritize harm reduction and smoking cessation, we're now going to need to shift. The gene is really well and truly out of the bottle, isn't it? Can we get it back in though? What can we do now so that these very significant numbers of young people who many of them admittedly admit that they are consumers of nicotine because they're addicted?
