The Welcome Trust asked me if I could tackle the modern era. And what I wanted to understand was the post-mortem journeys of the dead. How did that become what scientists often called bio-commons? If you've lost a loved one, my apologies for using that word because, you know, that's very difficult to hear. But most people who enter medical research culture, the body is broken up in some way.
