Janvi Nilikani is the Founder Chairperson of Astrika Foundation, an initiative to strengthen health systems across India. She also founded Astrika Midwifery Centre, a birth centre in Bangalore that provides ethical and evidence-based maternity care. We spoke about the state of maternal health in India, the high rate of Cesarin births, evidence-based medicine and her personal journey that led her to found Astrika.
