Some Christians have labeled the prosperity gospel as heresy. To these Christians, many televangelists are nothing but scammers and charlatans. Critics say that Jesus himself probably would ask these wealthy televangelists to sell off their fast cars and faster planes and give that money to the needy. But televangelists say that God wants them to enjoy their prosperity.
