The Impersonality of Skin in Prison Experiments

Photographs of the Black skin as an apparatus show that even though the viewer is looking at skin, it's not what you're supposed to be seeing. The prison is a space where someone just loses that sense of autonomy of self-determination. And this can be seen in the ways that they are then deployed for scientific research.
