Ian and Myra were charged with the murder of Leslie Ann Downey. The search continued for more potential victims, but Winter was quickly approaching. Ian had admitted to taking pornographic photos of Leslie Ann. But he claimed that she was brought to his property by two men, and she had left his house alive. After 11 days, they were both committed for trial. Between the two of them, there were three victims police were aware of,. There were still two more that they hadn't uncovered yet. As they searched through the photos, they noticed the couple's dog puppet could be seen in many of them, sometimes as a puppy.
