Berkshire Hathaway's Operating Earnings

We reported in the first quarter operating earnings a little over 8 billion. We expect to make capital gains over time. It doesn't always work out, but overall it works out pretty well over time. And I would say that in the general economy, the feedback we get is that perhaps the majority of our businesses will actually report lower earnings this year than last year. In various degrees in the last six months or so, at various times, the businesses have left the incredible period which is about as extraordinary as World War II.
