The Hulchid Decree of Athens

The Hulchidians swore to avoid revolt in both word and deed. They even agree to betray their fellow citizens to the Athenians if they should have rebellious ideas. Similar situations probably occurred in other Ubean cities, but we only have the Hulchis decree. Also, the city of Histiaia was dealt with particularly harshly.
