How Do You Write?

There were different difficulties I had in trying to figure out how to get David on the page since he was obviously not going to be in the book itself. When I went for my walks I would think David, where are you? And also I could not listen to the classical music he had played. You know screeching with a vengeance instead of being beautiful music. Most of my writing takes place in the studio that I have in town here over the bookstore. It's a room completely of my own and it's just wonderful.
