How to Write a Turn on Facebook Instant Chat
Student joe meredith, who is now at salford university, i'll give her the name check. And she at people writing on facebook instant chat. She did a live screen capture of people writing, ah, and how they were constructing their turns on facebook. So there's a whole paper, and how many xes, and how people seem to decide and and calibrate how many xs they're going to put at the end. One of the things that she found is very similar, for example, as you start to build a turn at talk, sometimes you might stop yourself, fix it and move on. Very, absolutely transferable to the written word.
