How to Be a Successful First Year Researcher

Ben says he's pretty conservative about his research approach. He would like to have a greater commitment to go harder on some of these issues. As a first year researcher I was dirt poor so working on an area where I'm not going to get paid and be able to get a job would also be helpful great Ben.
