John Henryism Is a Personality Style
People blame themselves for things they should not be blaming themselves or because it's just you know determinism from your point of view. John Henryism is a personality style an attribution style of reappraisal style that you find in African American individuals who interpret the institutional racism all around them as being less institutionalized and less systemic. It reflects a certain cynicism to believe that once people have an excuse to be selfish they will immediately grab it. discovering there's no free will is going to be liberating for the majority of people on earth if you can't control yourself.
